💧Application Methods
1 — Flood Irrigation (Preferred)
- 1Mix the required amount of 401 in your irrigation water.
- 2Apply through normal flood irrigation. Microbes travel with water to the root zone.
- 3Apply a second time within 25 days.
2 — Foliar Spray
- 1Apply early morning or evening. Avoid midday — heat and sunlight damage the microbes.
- 2Mix with non-chlorinated water. If using tap water, let it sit uncovered for 2 hours first.
- 3Spray evenly using a knapsack or boom sprayer.
3 — Fertilizer Coating
- 1Use 2 L of 401 per metric ton (1,000 kg) of fertilizer.
- 2Spray evenly over fertilizer while mixing. Ensure full coverage.
- 3Allow to dry if needed before applying to field.
Do not mix with fungicides or bactericides. Chemical fungicides and bactericides kill the microbes on contact. Apply at least 48 hours apart from any such products.
Use non-chlorinated water when mixing. Chlorine in tap/municipal water kills the microbes. Let water sit open for 2+ hours before use.

💧Application Methods
1 — Crop Residue / Stubble
- 1After harvest, spray 501 evenly over crop residues in the field.
- 2Incorporate residues into the soil with tillage where possible.
- 3Keep residues moist. Irrigate or apply when rain is expected. Dry conditions significantly reduce effectiveness.
2 — Compost Piles
- 1Spray 501 evenly while building or turning the compost pile.
- 2Ensure thorough coverage throughout the pile, not just the surface.
- 3Keep the pile moist throughout the composting process.
Moisture is critical for 501 to work. Microbial activity stops in dry conditions. Always ensure residues or compost remain adequately moist after application.
🌾Sugarcane Biological Program
For sugarcane, use both 401 and 501 together for maximum benefit.
